to the brand new Norfolk Angling website, back as Norfolk's first and very own
Angling magazine. The magazine has been designed in the traditional Angling
magazine format, and over the coming months new and improved sections will be
added. All the features of the original Norfolk Angling site have been retained,
so all of the invaluable information on this wonderful counties fishing is still
available ........ with massive improvements. Among the new sections you can
navigate are the Articles. The articles will be added every week and cover local
fisheries, angling stories, successes and disasters! Feel free to come up with
an article on something angling related and send them to me to maybe be
published! Another of our sections is reviews, we will be reviewing everything
from Bivvies to Mosquito repellents in the coming months! I hope you enjoy the
new site.

The
Norfolk Broads
The Norfolk Broads offers all types of fishing to suit any angler, whether you are a pike,carp,bream,fly or just looking for a day's quiet float fishing, Norfolk has got it all. The Broads themselves need no introduction, the fishing is fantastic yes, but the beautiful surroundings during all seasons is truly breathtaking, I live on the Broads and still sit in my Boat marveling at the splendid beauty of the place. Wildlife abounds in this part of the world, all types of Deer, Marsh Harriers,Kingfishers,Grass Snakes and even Coypu have shown up in the past!. But of course the fishing is what were here for, the Broads are famous for there Pike and the River Thurne is an ex - pike record holding river, a fish of 41lb 6oz was landed by Neville Fickling on 2 Feb 1985, breaking the British record by 6oz! There are Bream that can go to double figures, the current record is held at Bawburgh lakes Norwich, and plenty of Roach shoals to keep the pleasure angler happy, Perch (some going over 4lb and lots of Eel's!) There are many day ticket fisheries available to Carp Anglers including the famous Catch 22 lake complex at Lenwade.
